I received my Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2003 from Emperor's College, a four year program, in Santa Monica, California. My training there included acupuncture, Chinese Internal Medicine, Chinese Herbology, Qi Gong Therapy, Eastern Nutrition (the study of the nutritional properties of food), as well as Western Nutrition. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Emperors, I enrolled in The American University of Complimentary Medicine where I am currently working on my Doctorate dissertation in Classical Chinese Medicine.

I feel my extended studies have given me a unique perspective and understanding of the classical and ancient medicines of the East. The traditions of China, Tibet, Vietnam and Japan have inspired and formed the way I practice medicine. Yet it is my practice of Tibetan Buddhism that led me on this healing path.

In 2004, I was invited to attend his His Holiness, the Dalai Lamas Medical Institute in Ladakh, India. It was there where I experienced firsthand Tibetan medical and healing techniques, on which many of my treatments are based. Truly it is the consolidation of all of these Eastern traditions that form the basis of what I consider Classical Oriental Medicine (COM).

The health and longevity of my patients has always been my priority and utilizing these traditions has allowed me to holistically care for my patients. I treat not only the physical body but the spiritual and emotional bodies as well. It is important for my patients to understand this medicine in a most basic way so that it can resonate within them and work for them in the most complete way. I guide my patients through the healing process, and often they find that their own healing abilities shine through.
